Last week's contest has me in a give away mood. And there's no guessing this time! Just take some time to browse around and then leave a comment on this post. At the end of the week, I'll choose a random winner to receive a FREE set of 12 custom notecards featuring any Crossmark photo from my archives--YOUR CHOICE OF ANY PHOTO!

Always need notecards. Thanks for the useful giveaway. Please enter me.
Great prize, and some beautiful photos. Thanks for the contest!
Cool giveaway! As for photo tips, I try and take my photos during the best lighting moments of the day, and I like to get down on the level of what I am photographing. Trying different angles for each shot is cool, because you are surprised at how cool some of them turn out.

Thanks for a great giveaway! Keep up the great work on your blog :)
i am into pictures of my sweet lil 10 week old at the moment :) i just got a nikon50 and am having too much fun playing with it. my goal for the next year is to get better at photography!
Your photos are gorgeous!
I especially love your photos of nature. I really like the toes in the grass picture (my hubby is a podiatrist, you know!), and I love the raindrop dripping from the pine tree branch. As for photo questions...hmmm...I have too many! I just got a new Cannon PowerShot SD850 IS. 8.8 megapixels sure beats my old Olympus 3.3 megapixels. What the heck is a megapixel, anyway?! :) And how can I time my photos with a 21-month-old who is on the move? I still want high resolution pictures, but my shutter speed must be too slow to capture the little bugger who is too cute too quick! Thanks for entering me in your contest--especially since I lost the last one! :)
love your outdoor photos!! please enter us in your great contest!! thanks so much!!
I love Autumn Glow! monk5@charter.net
Cool! Great photos...how to choose a favorite...?
Tree bones, what a neat name for branches. :) I'm giving away a photo but that doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy your creations. :)
I like the green gum balls, and morning dew! Love your photos!
I like In Black and Yellow! I just started photography when our daughter was born (two years ago) - I have a hard time moving the camera off her, to the big world and all the beauty that surrounds us (like you are a natural at capturing!)

I love the black and yellow flower photo you have in your archives! your photos are beautiful! there's a lot I like there. i wish I had more time to photograph - I'd do it a as a career.
i love the HAPPY WILLOW tree photo. Willows remind me of childhood and happy lazy outdoor summer days!!
Fun. You have great choices.
I love the In Black and Yellow! Your photos are so fresh and new! Great job!
love this idea! ahdrad2932@msn.com
Tree Bones or Leaves on Green, I love both of them! Hope I win! :)
I love your creativity! I liked a number of them, but think I like the morning dew the most.
Love your photography - especially morning dew and red bike on a rainy day.
I love Tree Bones. Dormant trees look beautiful to me.
Thanks for doing this!

Your photos are really beautiful -- I love unique detailing. For your photo series, how about an article on taking still life pictures. A lot of times I want to take a picture of an inanimate object for a scrapbook page, but my pictures always look ridiculous. mlciavola(at)yahoo(dot)com.
I love your plant photos - especially The Holly and The Ivy - would be a great holiday notecard. Thanks!
I took a bunch of photography classes in high school. I have always taken photos, but I am starting to get a lot more into it. I want a digital SLR so bad! My Canon is nice & has lots of features but I am really itching to play with the camera more. Love the photos on your site, going to save it so I can look around!
Ummm... your drawing is random? So if I leave a thoughtful comment do I get a 2nd entry?
Just in case, I want you to know that I can rarely take a good picture and am ultra impressed by aone who can!
Oooh, what fun, your own prints! I love the Thistle While You Work. It is peaceful and lovely. Nice! Me, not so great at taking photos, but I love to snap 'em of my toddler doing anything remotely cute.
What a nice prize. I love the green gumball print.
I like your creativity! I am definitely not an experienced photographer but my son provides lots of inspiration to take lots of photos!
What great photo's. katie_mmartin [at]yahoo(dot)com
Oh my land I love the fiery globe, and the candlelit pattern...so many of them are so beautiful! I hope I win...Thanks for the giveaway. My email addy is in my blogger profile, just in case I win!
I absolutely must have the GOTTA P set or I also love the TREE BONES. The GOTTA P is something personal but the TREE BONES just spoke to me. It is just so stark in its black and white lines!

I love the 1-2-3 shot - I think it would be adorable on postcards. (Of course, my bias as an elementary school teacher may be showing just a little teensy bit.)
And I know next to nothing about photography, so I'm bookmarking you to come back for your series.
Thanks for doing the giveaway!

You have some beautiful pictures on your blog. I like the one of th estairway going to th ewaterfall a lot. I just got my first DSLR camera and I am longing for the weather to be warm so I can take my kids out and practice.
Thanks for sharing your talent and the chance to win.
i took pictures of my little kids for a christmas card. it takes a patient person to photograph little kids! that's my deep thought. ; )
I'm very much a novice photographer, but I would love to be better at it - I would love to know what kind of camera I need and what all the terminology means so that we could better preserve those precious moments of our lives, you know? Your work is awesome :)
you have some great pics :)
i took my camera out the other day as me and my son was walking to kroger to try to capture something but i couldnt lol i took a ton of pics but didnt like how any turned out :( the only ones i like are th eones i take of my kids lol

I love to look at photos. My husband is more into taking them.
I think your Mossy Stairway pic would make a great front of a notecard. The other I liked - for notecards - is leaves on green. The Schoolyard tree and the Morning Dew pics would be runners up.
I bookmarked your blog to come back and check it out later. Take care!
I love taking pics but they never turn out the way I want them to! I see it in my mind but it doesn't turn out that way... I respect anyone who can take good pics!
And giveaways are awesome too!
count me in!
I'm not that thoughtful - a non sleeping baby will do that to you, and I don't really do pictures either, except for of my kiddos. But I would love to be entered. Thanks.
Great photos! I especially like Dreamin' of a Green Christmas and Tree Bones. Thanks for the giveaway!
Wow! Your photography is incredibly moving. You have a great eye!
These are really great photos.
taowyn (at) gmail (dot) com
Wow that flow carving picture is something else!! That would sure make a great note card. Hint hint!
I really like your Blue Heron photo. that would make a great card, it just says Peace and Serenity to me.
I have a question, what do you do about lighting? Obviously natural is best, but I have a 10 month old son and live in Eastern Washington (where we have a ton of snow) so it's not exactly practical to take pictures of him outside. Maybe I'm expecting to much for all my pics to have good lighting, but I'm SICK of using my flash (and having to edit out his red eyes)
I have windows on both sides of my apartment and get decent daylight, but I usually still have to use the flash. Maybe I just don't know how to set the settings on my Nikon D-50? :)
I'm glad I stumbled on your blog. We're practically neighbors! ;) And my in laws all live around Portland.
I'm not a photographer, but I really like the "Mossy Stairway" picture. It makes me want to know what is at the top.
I love to look at photography - I like the rain drop on the branch, and the bare tree...
Okay, you opened yourself up for questions! I need help to take pictures of my son's indoor soccer games in a big gym. I have a brand new Olympus 510 and I'm still learning it. I mostly shoot on the S mode and play with the shutter speed - 1/80, 1/100 - to capture the action but still let in enough light. It's still not the best - the camera has some auto-focus features and it overrides me and sometimes won't take the picture - should I move to M and play more? Are there other tricks you can tell me? THANKS!
I really like the cross and bell and farmhouse window....I love the beach do you have any of that? I also loved all the city....great pics.....count me in.
I love all your pictures - especially the architecture ones like the chapel door and the lighthouse stairs. I too love taking pictures. I'm constantly having my husband stop so I can take pictures of things I see.
Enter me in your giveaway, please. Thank you!
They are all beautiful. My favorites are Mossy Stairway, and Flower carving. Pick me!
I love the "Mossy Stairway" and the "Where Was I? Contest #1 - In Black and Yellow"
You are so very talented! I so enjoy your photographs.
My favorite photos are the ones in the Grunge/Rustic, especially the "musical thingy"
Thanks for the chance to win!
I love to send cards but don't as often as I would like. Windmills On My Mind, Flower Carving or Leaves on Green would be my choice for note cards. I love your photographs, very creative. Thanks!
How fun! Count me in!
Your photography is beautiful. I love how you can bring forth so much detail out of everyday objects.

You have some terrific photos. I'm working on getting a photo blog set up and really would like to develop my photography skills this year. I subscribed to your blog and look forward to your upcoming series.
I need to know more about camera settings, post production (I have Photoshop) and what I can do with my photography like how to turn photos into notecards, etc.

I really love Nothing Rhymes with Orange, Service for Six, and the Smiley ( I am a child of the 60's). I enjoy taking photos; however, mine rarely turn out as nicely as your photographs!
Very nice give-away. Something thoughtful, hmmm. My grandpa is an amateur photographers and I've always thought photographers have such a unique way of looking at the world, moments in time, new views, etc., and are kind enough to share it with the rest of us. Good people, photographers.
thanks
would love to win this !!!
Awesome giveaway. I could always use a set of notecards.
Your products are really amazing! Great ideas!
From a parent's perspective, most of our photos are of our children. I love taking pictures when they are just doing what they do best ~ being kids!
Thanks for the chance to win your cards!
