I really liked Autumn Glow. I'm originally from Ontario, Canada and am currently visiting with my family there. Never before have I felt such a deep longing for my roots. One of the things that makes this place so unique is the fall leaves. I'm now in Georgia and although the leaves do turn color a little, it doesn't have the same brilliance of color that Ontario has.

Your photo captures the golden haze of a beautiful autumn day that I miss so much!

You've got some really beautiful pictures on your website; I know I'll be back!

I keep going back to "Just Dandy," the dandelion photo. My daughter is 6 (and a half), and she recently told me that she doesn't like the pretty yellow flowers or the "blowy" flowers that grow all over anymore. When I asked her why, she told me, "They're just weeds." Her innocence is slipping away with her childhood, and it makes me sad. (Darn it, this is a contest entry, I'm not supposed to CRY. ;-))

Thanks!

The Happy Willow is my favorite photo. My grandparents always had a weeping willow in their backyard, and every time I see one, it reminds me of happy visits to their house. My grandfather just passed away last month, and my grandmother is getting ready to sell their house. I will surely miss visiting the house and sitting in the shade of the weeping willow.

For me, it would be Gimme A Hand-

I really like the family element, no faces, just hands on top of each other. Young hands, older hands-it could be anyone-the photo shows the closeness and love of the family without facial expressions, only simple body language. Very touching!

I am torn between the Smiley Addiction and the Rose Skin. I like the Smiley because the phrase, "Don't Worry Be Happy" come to mind and that's how I try to live my life every day. I would choose the rose because it's my favorite flower.

Thanks for the opportunity to enter.

Well, there are several that caught my eye (the red and white striped building, for one), but I have to settle on Multnomah Falls. I used to live in Oregon City, and I visited the falls frequently. That is truly one of the most beautiful shots of those falls I've ever seen. I used to go swimming at the bottom, before they cut it off. It's got special memories for me. Please pick me!?
