Everything here in Portland is still a snowy, slushy, foot-deep mess. Warm temps this weekend will get the world moving again, we hope.

Snow Hydrant

Fire hydrant covered in snow. It's been coming down constantly for over 24 hours now and shows no signs of stopping any time soon.

For now, it's fun being "snowed in", but we may need some ideas on how to keep cabin fever at bay.

Snow on a window sill. A rare sight in Portland, but it does happen. Expecting to get dumped on with more snow and ice the next two days. Next week isn't looking any better. Could end up with a severe case of cabin fever.

Frozen Butterfly

Maple leaf frozen in the snow like a fallen butterfly. I'm just crazy enough to go for a photo walk in the blustery "arctic blast" that Portland got this weekend. An inch or two of snow and this town shuts down.
